Welcome on the W.M.P.E.P site
The World Movement for the Protection of Effect Pedals
Even today many effects pedals are over and over again persecuted. Either fixed permanently to their pedalboard (Screwed, glued …) or chained to it (plastic collar, elastic …) and finally left with a feeling of freedom but with a damaged back (Adhesive Velcro, Tape…)
The W.M.P.E.P intended to protect effects pedals, it deals body and soul for the welfare of these little creatures shaping our sound. We urgently need to find solutions to the view of the growing number of abuse.
We can see that the first reflex of a young owner of a pedalboard is to buy a low-end hook and loop tape roll with integrated adhesive and place it without any remorse on the back of his favorite pedals. STOP! STOP! STOP!

The traces of aggression
The remains of adhesive from the use of hook and loop tape or simply glue residue after direct gluing are so frequent in this environment. This is the case of physical abuse that unfortunately found most commonly on a pedalboard…
The Deprivation of liberty
Some plastic rings or a few screws, and that’s a trammeled pedal… We strongly condemn this process, which not only can lead to injury pedals, but also deprived of flexibility.
The pile in a corner
An effect we do not abandon it on the edge of his amp, we love it, we protect it and the store it in good conditions. We are no more hippie …
We gets organized
The solution recommended by the W.M.P.E.P
With this terrible situation and the lack of being taken seriously by our governments, the W.M.P.E.P goes on the offensive and strongly recommends the use of Scratch/My/Back stand.
No more physical damage, forget glue or any permanent solution. A perfect fixation combining with velcro flexibility and with a stand using origin screw without let marks.
Do not hesitate and go to www.scratchmyback.fr and see for yourself.
